We will be mixing our media for the January edition of Radio Waves. In
your opinion, what are the best books about radio?

Fiction, Non-fiction, or other, what books have influenced you about radio?

There are lots of reference books on radio; which ones are accessible?
Do you have any favorites? Are more books accessible today than in
years past?

Expanding the definition of print media: are there magazines or
periodicals you read on a regular basis? Why? What about blogs or
other digital productions?

The recent announcement by the Voice of America that they are going to
be phasing out shortwave broadcasting is another nail in the coffin of
the medium. It's not quite dead yet, but sure is on life support.
So if high frequency analog broadcasting is ending, where do you go for
international news, music, drama, and all the other stuff that made
shortwave so cool? To the web of course!

OTR - Old Time Radio. We'll talk about the different sub-genres of OTR,
the different ways to access it, and just about anything else related to
the subject.
