Please note this is a change from the previously announce program. Accessible World wishes to thank Walt Kramer for postponing his presentation until a later date so that we can present this timely event.
News wire:
Hot off the Press.
What was cool at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show from the perspective of a blind user?
Mike May will talk about his 5 days of exploration around the millions of square feet in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Mike has attended CES since 1984. For several years, he produced an audio summary report for Playback Magazine, which are archived at http://www.SenderoGroup.com/products/mikeproducts.htm
For the first time, Mike will share his CES findings in real-time with others interested in tools and gadgets. Some are very accessible, some are not. All are easier to explain and to discuss on a live chat where you can listen and ask questions.
We hope you will join us for this special Tek Talk program.

Accessible World uses News Wires, like this one, to inform people of the topic and times for the many Discussion Groups on Accessible World. The lists are announce only to keep the traffic to a minimum. You can join the Accessible World Announce List, the Tek Talk Announce List or the Sports Talk Announce List by completing the form at: www.accessibleworld.org/mailinglists
Accessible World also provides a Tek Talk Discussion List. This list is intended to give you an opportunity to ask computer related questions, suggest topics to be used in the weekly Monday training programs, or just to interact with others interested in using assistive devices to access computers. You may sign up for this list by selecting the Tek Talk Discussion link on the same page and completing the form.
