Accessible World's Tek Talk is pleased to present George Abbott and Amy Salmon from the Hadley School for the Blind. Mr. Abbott is currently Vice President of Development and Communications for the Hadley School. Amy Salmon's is an instructor at Hadley; her current classes include several technology-based courses. George and Amy will provide a brief overview of the Hadley school and its mission. Also they will describe how Hadley and its students are currently using assistive technology, Such as with email assignments, online courses, online office hours, etc.
If you are new to assistive technology, or simply wish to learn more about the Internet and Microsoft Office, this is an opportunity for you to discover the array of technology-based courses Hadley offers to its students.
In addition, learn about how Hadley plans to integrate technology in its future programs. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers. Be sure to visit The Pat Price Tek Talk Room at 8:00 PM EDT on May 4th to learn more about the distance learning programs that Hadley School for the Blind provides for blind and visually impaired persons.
