Woo hoo! And speaking of the home stretch. Bob Acosta just called and we
used JAWS Tandem to take a look at the baseball audio stuff. There are
several columns of links, basically a table that JAWS does not identify as a
table. There are 5 columns that usually contain the names (and links to)
the stations that are broadcasting tv and audio. There are more than 5
columns, but most of them are empty. So for the most part: When you are on
the line that contains the game you want, the first 3 links of station names
are the premium tv stuff. The last 2 station links are the audio stuff. In
the case of WGN, this was easier to figure out because there was a WGN under
the tv stuff (the first three links), and another WGN link under the audio
section. But for most of the games, it looks like the station names are
different for TV and audio. But I bet it will be easier if you go to the
game you want (which is just text and not a link) and then arrow down from
there. Visually, using the down arrow takes you across the page. So the
third radio station name after the names of who is playing should (my lawyer
says I must say "should" and not "will") be the link to the plain old audio.
It would be nice if the folks who designed the page made the links say "WGN
TV" and "WGN Audio" instead of just "WGN". That way you would know that
you're on the correct link.
I'm pretty sure that Mr. Acosta owes me dinner.
Sue
