with Internet basics and other applications, I am also willing to make

In addition to my tutorials, I will also offer tech support for $15 for a
half hour and $20 an hour.  Tech support can be given via phone or via the

New tutorials.

File Zilla

This tutorial demonstrates the FTP program file zilla.  If you are new to
FTP, or don't know what FTP is, this tutorial is for you.

In this tutorial, you will:

Learn how to use the program with a screen reader, how to access different
ftp sites and upload and download content plus I will also explain what ftp
sites contain.

Zipping and unzipping files

There are times when you want to send a file to someone, but you find out
that it is a little bit large for your e-mail client.  If you have never
zipped up a file, or if you have gotten files from someone and they were all
zipped up and you didn't know how to unzip them, this tutorial is for you.

In this tutorial I will:

Discuss what zipped files are and what they can contain.

I will teach you how to use the free zip program winrar and it's benefits.

Burning and copying CD's with windows media player

This next tutorial in the burning and copying CD series talks about using
Windows Media Player to do your burning and copying of CD's.  Many people
have Windows Media Player on their computers and this tutorial will give you
a chance to burn or copy CD's with out having to purchase any additional
software.

In this tutorial you will:

Learn the dialogue for copying CD's and how to navigate it.

Learn the CD burning process from how to determine the percentage of the
progress of your CD, to finding out when your CD is finished.

Spybot

This tutorial will explain how to use the program with a screen reader.
Topics include:

Getting updates, scanning your computer for spyware etc.



Using you tube.

You tube is a site where people can go to view video content on a wide range
of topics that users submit.  This tutorial will do the following:



  1.. Explain the layout of the you tube site and how to do a search for
content
  2.. 2.  How to get an account on you tube to submit your own videos.
Also, people have submitted audio files as wel
  3.. How to convert your video files after you have found them to an mp3
format.
This is a great tutorial if you want to find great clips from television
shows etc.  I found a lot of old television news clips from different news
broadcasters on that site as well.



Bookshare

Bookshare.org is a site that allows individuals who do not have access to
printed books, the opportunity to download them on to your computer for
reading.  This is a lengthy tutorial because I attempt to cover all aspects
of using the service.

In this tutorial, you will:

Learn how to sign up for an account with bookshare and learn the layout of
the site.

How to download a book in different formats.

Learn how to become a bookshare volunteer to validate books plus I
demonstrate the process.

I also discuss different book clubs that are out there that became of blind
people using bookshare.org.  An example would be the friends of bookshare
website.



Skype: Covers installing the program with JAWS scripts, chatting with
someone, contacts, etc. Everything you need to know about the program from
installing to talking with it.



Setting up a MySpace website account:

This tutorial is done by Chasity. She is also offering that for anyone who
purchases this tutorial, she will help you with the capcha word verification
and help set up your account up to that point. And after she does that, you
can change your pass word for security measures. This tutorial covers
creating an account on MySpace, looking at others MySpace pages, creating
your profile, your account settings and privacy settings, searching for
friends and classmates, adding friends, posting bulletins, etc.



AVG tutorial: Covers scheduling scans and program updates, where to get the
program, downloading and installing, and other features of the program.



eBay: How to register, search, bid, buy, sell, resolve disputes, pay for
items, etc.



PayPal: How to receive funds, send money, resolve disputes through the
resolution center, pay for items, find stores that accept PayPal, etc.



Accessible games: Shows you how to download and play the free kitchens inc.
games sutch as:  football, baseball, golf, monopoly, Life, etc.



Accessible Games Part 2: Shows you how to play Grizzly Gulch, Dissent Into
Madness, Whoop Ass and racing game. I will also cover how to download from
audiogames.net and give you some additional sites where you can go to
download games.



Accessible web sites: Covers sites that some blind people have said are hard
to navigate such as free cycle, craigslist, Pollstar.



Jobs and Employment tutorial: Shows you various sites where you can go to
search for jobs. Shows you samples of resumes, cover letters, follow up
letters, CV's, etc. Gives you tips for interviewing and how to make a
lasting impression so you have a better chance of getting the job. My
girlfriend is a college graduate, and she majored in Mass Communications
with an emphasis in Theory and Rhetoric, got a minor in English and got two
certificates in writing. She took several job type courses in college and
several writing courses, and she helps me with this tutorial as far as the
resumes and other writing samples are concerned.



Also in this tutorial, I discuss attending a job readiness program, taking
aptitude tests, interest tests, different search options in the program,
etc.



Winamp: This tutorial will discuss the many features of the free audio
player Winamp and what you can do with it. Topics will include: key board
short cut commands, using the play list editor, using the Winamp library to
find stations, using book marks, etc.



Replay AV: This program is designed to record audio streams and radio
programs from the net and save them to your hard drive. Good for not missing
your favorite program if you're not home. Topics include: searching for
streams by category, by show name, by radio station etc. I also cover how to
repeatedly schedule programs, schedule one time only airings, etc.



Outlook express: covers the various menus of the program and how you can use
each one. Covers message rules, message receipts, folders and arranging your
e-mail, etc.



Microsoft word: Since my girlfriend has used Microsoft in college, I let her
do this tutorial since she has used it much more than I have. She covers
fonts, bulleting, underlining, bold, centering, and the different things you
can do while writing a paper, an outline, etc.



College tutorial

Discusses several strategies for your IPE, several scholarship resources,
getting involved with campus life, getting help with essays and research
papers, and other aspects of college



Cleaning Up Your Computer

Covers tips on computer maintenance such as prefetch, AVG, Adaware, temp
files, etc.



Burning Using XP

Shows you how to create CD's using Windows XP rather than a CD burning
program





Burning with NERO

Shows you how to burn with the program Nero



CDEX CD extracter

Shows you how to rip CD's to your computer, put a CD in your computer and
obtain the artist and album name if you don't know, etc.

If you buy 1, 2, or 3, tutorials, it is $8 a piece, because these tutorials
are $8 individually, but I am bundling them if people buy multiple ones, so
