“I was born 2/11/85 in Rockford Illinois. When I was 15 months old I went blind from Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). I attended public school until my senior year of high school. Then I attended the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired for 3 years. In 2007 I went to Rock Valley community College where after several years I earned an associates of Arts Degree. Some of my interests are playing the guitar and singing songs, downloading and listening to audio books as well as helping people learn assistive technology.”
