Do you remember when blind and visually impaired DOS computer users were convinced they would never be able to access a graphical user interface operating system like Windows? It is now years later and the old refrain is being heard again but with a new twist. We are hearing that it is not that the visually impaired will never be able to productively use Windows VISTA but that it will be many years before it will occur. The good news is that theory is inaccurate. During this week's Tek Talk online training, Joseph Lee will show that No matter how you use your PC-from home entertainment to business productivity-there's an edition of Windows Vista that's right for you and you can access it NOW using a screen reader and the keyboard. While time will not permit an exhaustive tutorial on VISTA, we promise that Joseph will cover the basics and direct you to sources for further study. He is a young, knowledgeable computer guru anxious to share his knowledge with others.
