Two experienced computer and access technology veterans will compare the PAC Mate and BrailleNote mPower note takers from a consumer's perspective. Some of the features to be compared are: built-in help, synchronizing data with a PC, editing text, web browsing, and file management. Audience participants asked questions and offer their feedback.
The objective of the comparison is to give potential buyers a general feel for how each note taker functions. The two presenters are well qualified to lead this discussion. Mike Stearn is a long time computer programmer with Los Angeles county and a part time access technology trainer. Rob Turner was a computer programmer for eighteen years and has had over ten years experience providing technical support and access technology training.
