What is it like to make a living writing about the wrongdoing of big corporations or our very government itself? How does a columnist go about verifying that facts he has found are true? How much time goes in to writing a column and does it vary and why? Where do ideas come from?
If you have ever wondered about any of these things, our next Books and Beyond will answer those questions and much more. Our guest, Dave Lieber, is a multifaceted individual and wears a number of hats. He is a columnist, motivational speaker and co-founder of Summer Santa Inc., a charity helpful to children in north Texas. He was the 2002 recipient of the Will Rogers Humanitarian award, and so much more.
What part does ethics play in journalism? What can columnists writing today do to support up and coming writers? What is a video columnist? How can we best help children develop potential within themselves that will maximize their success tomorrow.
