On Books and Beyond this week, host Bonnie Blose will interview guest, Paul Harris, who has spent nearly thirty years in radio broadcasting serving as host of morning shows in Washington DC, New York City, Philadelphia, and Hartford before coming to St. Louis in 1999. His written work has appeared in the op-ed page of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and hundreds of his columns and podcasts are available on the website, http://www.harrisOnline.com.

In addition to his ratings success, Paul has won 6 Achievement In Radio Awards, published two trivia calendars, been named one of the most influential talk radio hosts in America, done live broadcasts from around the world (including two Super Bowls and the Olympics), and hosted the first American radio show to broadcast live from the Soviet Union to the United States and then back again via Radio Moscow.

Paul has helped raise substantial funds for numerous charities, has emceed dozens of concerts, trivia nights, and comedy shows, appeared as a cable TV pundit, and guest-hosted talk shows in Boston, Detroit, Baltimore, and New Jersey and even immortalized on the cover of Snack Foods magazine.
